We have had no failures in any regions on Monday 10 June and believe the issue is now resolved.

We will continue to monitor in case it resurfaces.

Azure Databricks update:
Between 00:00 UTC and 10:45 UTC March 26, 2024, customers may have experienced failures while attempting to launch cluster and serverless compute resources.

Multiple fiber cables on the West Coast of Africa — WACS, MainOne, SAT3, ACE — were impacted which reduced the total supporting capacity for our Regions in South Africa.

Microsoft have advised us that this issue has now been remediated

Microsoft have published a Root Cause Analysis.

We are advised that they have identified and remediated the issue.

Impact Statement: Between 11:33 UTC and 17:00 UTC on 13 Feb 2024, some customers using SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Database for MySQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL services in the West Europe region may have experienced intermittent issues when performing service management operations.

This includes databases unpausing (required for Data Studio).
